This restaurant was absolutely amazing! I decided to treat myself to a lovely evening in Old Town and this restaurant exceeded all my expectations! Atmosphere was super cute, staff super helpful! David Baez was my server and recommended wonderful dishes and a drink, and agreed to take a few pictures! I had Calle Nueve cocktail, Peruvian ceviche for appetizer, and octopus for entree. Everything was superb and prices were very reasonable. David, I can’t thank you enough for! Highly recommend this restaurant.
This place absolutely deserves the high ratings. The staff is attentive and makes you feel taken care of from the moment you sit down. It’s a small spot, so go early or expect a wait, it fills up fast (and for good reason). The piña colada was excellent, and the food more than delivered: the ceviche was wonderful and the octopus was really, really good. Great location too, and affordable for the quality. Definitely worth a visit.
On a Monday night, the place was so full. Luckily, we had reserved a spot in advance so we didn't have to wait. Some people waited for close to an hour before getting a table. Even though we had a table, it took quite some time before the waiters brought the menus and the water to our table. After we ordered however, it didn't take much time before the food arrived. The service was friendly but not quite welcoming. The food itself was great. Around 15-18$ per plates, the portion are acceptable but I wish they were just a bit bigger. I did really enjoy the flavour profiles of each dish. The octopus had great texture and sauces which accompagnated the dish. The beef and hummus was also quite delicious. The place was pretty small which made us feel a bit cramped but the noise is at a good level and the interior decor does make it feel like a nice night. The restaurant also have some board games available for you if you want to play a game while waiting for your food which I think is a remarkable idea.
What a Wonderful surprise! Found this spot on TripAdvisor and found the menu was what we wanted for dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming but lively. The staff was warm and friendly, especially Moses our host. I can’t call him just a waiter, he was fantastic. He made suggestions and made my day when he said happy hour was all day! The food was absolutely sensational, the flavors were robust and satisfying. We had a wonderful night enjoying the empanada, ceviche, shrimp, quesadillas and Chicken lollipop. After 3 Margaritas it ended the night with a smile.
Made reservations a few hours ahead, seated immediately on arrival. Service was fast, waitress was very attentive and gave recommendations, and was quick to get new drinks during Happy Hour. Food came out quickly and hot and were all as described in the menu. I would recommend making a reservation prior if you go during busy times as it is somewhat small, however they do have some open tables that people were able to walk in and sit down at.
