Had a burger here, right opposite Kilka Hostel. The service from Bowe and the rest of the staff was lovely and really friendly. The vegetarian burger was delicious (hard to find in Central America!) and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend 🙌
Great burgers, smoothies and acai bowl. I went there every morning for coffee as well. It is so tasty! Service is amazing too.
The food was delicious, and the prices were amazing. All the ingredients were super fresh, and the service was 20/10. The atmosphere was really nice, and the burgers were absolutely delicious. I recommend this place to try it you will not regret
I spent three weeks in Bocas del Toro and tried a lot of different food spots and this place ended up being one of my absolute favorites. I kept coming back (more often than I’d like to admit) because the food is just that good, fresh, high quality and clearly made with care. The Captain Caribe burger was a total highlight and a must if you love plantains. Also highly recommend the smoothies (especially the Silver Back) and the coffee is great too. What I really liked is that you can get any of the burgers with a vegan patty and it actually tastes really good. Prices are very fair for Bocas and it’s the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or a quick dinner with good music and a relaxed vibe. The staff is really friendly. Bowe is super nice and Jorge, the owner, is always in a good mood and great to chat with, it’s just a cool place to hang out. Highly recommend, you’ll probably end up coming back more than once :)
The first time I was here I was impressed that the guys had a vegan option that used patacones (mashed fried plantain) instead of brioche buns (eggs/milk)😁 for the burgers! The strawberry almond milk milkshake was also awesome! Second visit the vegan burger came out wrong and I had to request it with patacones, but staff did all they could to put it right. Very friendly. Only issue is they serve the vegan option with dairy cheese and mayo, which are definitely not vegan 😒 So I'd say, Great for veggie burger, not ideal for vegans, unfortunately. But the shake is great! *Request it without cream for vegan version*
