We visited the casino at the Sortis Hotel during our stay. The atmosphere is okay, but if you value a nicer ambiance, we would recommend the StarBay Casino at the Hilton instead. A very negative point: at the roulette table, our winnings were paid out incorrectly (about 50$ instead of around 120$), as we didn’t count the chips beforehand. We only noticed this at the cashier, so we didn’t raise a complaint. Another player’s win was also initially missed and only corrected after he complained. Whether this was intentional or just carelessness, we can’t say, but it leaves a very bad impression
Excellent hotel with amazing amenities. I have almost 1k nights in a Marriott, and this was one of the best MGRs receptions ever- great appetizers, mixed drinks and very talented keyboardist/pianist. Ivan from MGT was very hospitable and gracious! We had a wonderful time here :)
