Description

This tour captures Aguas Clara's New set of locks located on the Caribbean side of the canal and built in 2016 as a part of the so-called Panama Canal expansion to welcome the giant ships(new Panamax) through the Panama Canal. We will stop by the visitor center so you can appreciate the transit of these mega-ships on their way to the Pacific or the Atlantic Ocean. Then, we will go through San Lorenzo Park, a rainforest full of flora and fauna, Sherman's former military base, until we reach the San Lorenzo fort.
