This restaurant was great. The food was very tasty. Full of flavour and a good sized portions. The atmosphere was nice and the live band was good as well. Everything worked together to make an enjoyable evening. I would definitely recommend.
Great vibe don’t be put off by the area. Cocktails were great. Pizza was good . Ordered grilled shrimp that was over cooked👎🏻. Make sure to ask for them to be al dente. Presentation was great.
What a great experience Aya la Vida was! We came on the recommendation of friends and were so glad we did! The restaurant was spacious with many different sized tables for groups of every size. They had live music the night we went, which was such a fun experience to be a part of. The food was delicious - traditional Panamanian. Don't be turned off (or confused) by some of the dish names - they did literal translations for a few. We got the "Volcano Old Clothes Meat" - in Spanish it's "Ropa Vieja" - which is a traditional slow cooked beef. Drinks were good, too, and all was reasonably priced. I'd recommend a reservation, especially if you're more than 4.
Great place for live music, good Panamanian cuisine and suitable for larger groups. I recommend to make a reservation ( especially on the weekends). We came without and the manager went out of his way to accommodate us. We ended up sitting on a comfortable table a bit out of the way and maybe that’s why the waiters forgot about us. We had to wait over an hour for our food and the complementary empanadas that were send to appease the wait time were later on the bill. But I believe it was an honest mistake. If we would have made a reservation we would have had a very good experience. The food was very good and the staff was nice. The decor of the restaurant was vibrant and tropical and I particularly loved the “tree like decor “ above the bar. Overall a great place and I will be back to try more of their yummy food.
We went to Aya la Vida with a big group. They hosted us super nice. Staff were really friendly and kind. Food was very delicious. They had also a live band playing good music. 5/5!!!
