Getting lunch here was probably one of my favorite experiences out of my entire trip. The food was amazing. I highly recommend the Angus cheese burger or the salmon. Just to warn you though the salmon may have bones in it.(be careful eating it) I extremely enjoyed the freshly squeezed passion fruit juice along with the pina colada. The view from the tables is outstanding. It is like you are looking at a picture in a book. The ocean is turquoise and the sand is soft. The pool can get a little bit noisy and staff can be a little rude by ignoring you sometimes. Otherwise the experience was great. Totally recommend this place if you are staying at the Red Frog Island Resort or if you are just getting a day pass.
We bought day passes to spend the day here and it was great. Welcoming and friendly staff. The setting by the jungle and beach is absolutely stunning. We saw a small sloth close up that we saw the staff pointing out to other guests. The environment is clean, beautifully maintained and free of the litter that seems ubiquitous everywhere on these islands. One of the pools was out of service when we went. But I still enjoyed the main one. There was music but it wasn't overly loud. The food menu is fairly limited but the chicken quesadilla I had was very good. The only disappointment was that it did not come with guacamole as per the menu description. Vegetarian and gluten free options are helpfully labelled. Day passes are $25 each and gets you a beach towel and sun lounger. You have to pay to get here - we paid $10 per person each way and our skipper came to get us by pre-arrangement without any issues. It's another $5 each to access the area but the walk is paved and through the beautifully maintained and safe resort. So quite an expensive day but a lot cheaper than staying at the resort Beautiful jungle and tropical birds.
