Located right in the centre of old town Panama.. beautifully stylish, authentic old school latin accommodation. Lovely panamanian furnishings and decor. The architecture of buildings are wonderful and charming. Along with warm friendly and helpful staff and locals
Excellent in every respect. Very helpful reception, nice room. yes, there’s loud construction during the day — you’re going to find that EVERYWHERE in Casco Viejo. no big deal for us. Clean comfortable room with good AC and hot water. Adjoining restaurant is excellent. But the best thing was going to the rooftop at night for the spectacular view. super relaxing stay.
Las Clementinas was an outstanding place to call home during my two-week stay. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of everything that makes Casco Viejo special, including excellent restaurants, bars, plazas, museums, and historic sites. My room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities needed for an extended stay. One of the highlights of the property is the rooftop terrace, which offers wonderful views of both Casco Viejo and the Panama City skyline, providing a relaxing place to unwind at the end of the day. What truly sets Las Clementinas apart, however, is the team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. A special thank you to Fabiola and Neris, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure everything was perfect. Considering the quality of the accommodations, the location, and the level of service, Las Clementinas is one of the best values in Casco. An added bonus is that Mahalo, a fantastic restaurant, is located right downstairs. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend Las Clementinas without hesitation to anyone visiting Casco Viejo.
Our stay at Las Clementinas was amazing. The hospitality and service were excellent from the minute we arrived. Everyone there was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home during our stay. The location was perfect and made it super easy to walk everywhere around Casco Viejo and explore the city, restaurants, rooftops, shops, and history without needing transportation all the time. The attached restaurant, Mahalo Cocina y Jardín, was also incredible. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were outstanding and we had a great experience there. The rooftop was one of our favorite parts with amazing nighttime views of the city. It was the perfect spot to relax after being out all day exploring Panama City. What really stood out to us was how accommodating the staff was. We had a later flight leaving Panama the next day and they were kind enough to let us do a late checkout, which made our travel day so much easier and way less stressful. If you are visiting Panama City and want a beautiful boutique hotel with great people, amazing food, incredible views, and a perfect walkable location, I highly recommend Las Clementinas.
so very pleased with my choice! If you can get a room here, you won! I was in room 6 (3rd floor) and it was most marvellous. Facing a lovely little square, yet I didn’t feel too exposed when sitting on my balcony due to roundabout greenery. (Getting both the morning and evening sunlight) I’m a bit of a European bohemian snob appalled by too high end sterile luxury and Clementinas curated quality furnishings and unique style charmed me completely. Very clean. Best bed ever in a hotel. Receptionist Neris was most kind and the drivers to and from airport the hotel arranged completely reliable. This is a hotel with a code pad key lock, which normally makes me nervous due to a previous lock out experience, but it worked perfectly here. My comment on noice in the neighborhood is that if one’s priority is peace and quiet, the vibrant Casca Veijo might be reconsidered for accommodation altogether. Personally I find it part of the vibe and not of the fault of any hotel. While many hotels have rooftop bars which makes you literally sleep next door to a club, this is not the case with Clementinas.
