Hands down the best in town!
Excellent food and a great atmosphere. Nacar is definitely a must-visit in Panama. They have a great selection of specialties, especially meats and seafood, all very well prepared and presented. The service and overall experience were excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Panama.
NACAR was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Panama. The restaurant has a beautiful, modern atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations throughout the evening. The food was outstanding. The sea bass was phenomenal, and the sole was cooked perfectly. The papas fritas were served hot, crispy, and topped with Parmesan, and the rice and peas were absolutely delicious. The only minor disappointment was the Oyster Rockefeller—while very flavorful, you only receive four oysters for $26. The real surprise of the night was the mezcal margaritas with Tajín. We ended up ordering four because they were that good. Easily among the best margaritas we’ve had in Central America. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with exceptional food, outstanding service, and a great cocktail program, NACAR is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back. Al
Excelente ambiente , la comida espectacular lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados !!
As night falls, the scene transforms. A tapestry of hues envelops Nacar's delicate yet robust culinary offering. It's a restaurant that defies convention, showcasing its own culinary vision and effortlessly departing from the everyday. From the very first moment, you understand that this is no ordinary place. A sweeping horizontal panorama positions the kitchen as the heart of the space: an organ that beats with intensity, from which ideas spring forth, transformed into dishes, all integrated under a single concept. Glass, wood, and steel converse harmoniously in a space located at the entrance to Casa Armani. Terrace, lounges, and bar form a cohesive whole, meticulously designed down to the last detail. It's a canvas constructed with impeccable taste, free of excess or artifice. From the delicacy of a wine glass to the ceramic that supports each creation, everything seems to respond to a single intention: to make the diner feel that each element is exactly where it should be. Nacar's distinctiveness lies in the way it presents its flavors. From sea bass tiradito with coconut gelato to a Rockefeller-style oyster, each dish invites you on a journey. The sea becomes the guiding thread of a voyage that takes you through Alaska, Australia, Europe, or Patagonia. The diner assumes the role of captain, navigating currents, aromas, and textures that shift with every bite. The wooden curves that run along the ceiling seem to dance to the rhythm of an invisible baton, the same one that synchronizes the work of each member of the team. The pairing, far from being limited to wine, becomes an extension of the experience: it complements, enhances, and completes the narrative that Nacar presents from nightfall onward. Here, you come to discover that when gastronomy has its own identity, a dish can tell a story far more than a recipe.
