good party scene but the bathrooms are shit so beware.First venue is like being in a big pool party, second was and in door party with a/c Also the workers seem very stressed the group I went with saw a lot if yelling between them, and me personally got yelled at for taking my wet bathing suit off in the bathroom. Not nice yelling.. where did the whole chill vibe go? and is this how you treat your costumers that are on vacation here? Not cool noone likes to be yelled at
When in bocas, obviously had to be part of filthy friday. Loved the second location. Mood was good. Music was mixed and good. Songs for everyone. Loved that they pointed out that there is a 0 tolerance for touching women if they don‘t want it. Amazing! Third location the vibe changed. It was horrible due to this female dj. No mix of music. When asked if she could play something else, she was really rude. Approx. 15/150 people were dancing. Must be depressing for her as well. Then the previous dj (i believe) was playing music. This mix of music was much better but a repetition of what we had heard in the second location. It‘s ok to see filthy friday once but i highly recommend skipping that rude lady dj that only plays one type of music. To me it felt like forever but i think she played a set of 2hrs more or less Or if she can‘t be fired/skipped: at least tell her to be nice to paying guests! Bare minimum guys! Me personally i didnt like the tshirts they gave but that‘s just me. The rest of the organisation of the event was good. It moved, boat transport worked, i liked the that there was a place to leave belongings.
Female member of our group was forcefully shoved by one of the bouncer's at Aqua during the Filthy Fridays bar crawl. The staff there refused to acknowledge it, and I reached out to Filthy Fridays about the incident and never received a response. Other than the Aqua part, the event was very fun, but that incident definitely made us all never want to come back.
Cool party. Definitely overpriced for what it is but you quickly forget about it once you're there. Doesn't include much for the price: a cheap tank top 2 orange juice shot and "some transportation". If you're in bocas, you like to party and money is not an issue then definitely do it.
