Small Rooms are clean, comfy bed, pillows feel weird with the allergy protectors. Shower has such a low shower head. Free hot breakfast was nice. Walking distance to many restaurant options and a mall. Friendly staff. Cozy pool
The room was great, location definitely has its benefits, but it is quite a bit out of town. But the bonus is great chinese food all over the area. The reason for the 4 stars, is because the coffee that is provided, they give one cafinated abd one decaf, fair enough but as both my wife andcI really like our coffee in the morning, I asked at the desk to swap so we had two regular coffees. They said no problem, that they would send it up, it never came. No biggie, but the next day I requested again, they said no problem. They never did it. Then the breakfast, even though we were there very early (as we wanted coffee) quite a few of the options were out, including the eggs. So it was underwhelming. Overall for the price the service could be a little better. But everyone was friendly and the gym was nice.
The room when I entered felt like humidity was extremely high. They need to do a better job of controlling room temperature and humidity level. Also the design of the bathroom really has me shaking my head. I am not sure how anyone can utilize the toilet in the room to go #2. You can’t sit down properly. Instead of centering the toilet between vanity and shower they put it right next to vanity. Also there is a drop off from bathroom to living area. Giant chance someone trip and fall. For $100 a night it’s not worth the price of this hotel.
We liked it because we were not in the "hotel zone". We actually were in a Oriental, middle class neighborhood with good Chinese & Japanese restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores of various sizes, pharmacies, casino, easy access to major tollway. Nearby, walkable mall within 5 blocks.
