Had a great experience here, whole crew is super friendly but especially Drew and Kiki. Never had service like that before, absolutely fantastic. Food is also delicious, good options for breakfast and dinner was always great with ingredients from their own farm. The bungalows itself are very nice, the view during sunset is amazing and it’s very relaxing to wake up and take a swim in the ocean before going to breakfast.
We can’t say enough compliments and thanks to Drew and Kiki and the whole team at Sol Bungalows:) In the speed of today… it’s often hard to just allow yourself to disconnect and simply be in the moment…. But they have created just that… and we are so grateful we were able to experience that. They have created a space that allows you to completely disconnect and simply focus on enjoying the moments in the beautiful bungalows and open water….the attention to detail with delicious meals using the local ingredients were so appreciated and absolutely delicious. Thank you for your grace and kindness …. We will definitely be back:)
We truly enjoyed our stay at Sol Bungalows! Drew, Kiki, and the entire staff were exceptional and created such a warm, comfortable, and inviting place to unwind, relax, and recharge from the hectic world we live in. Even before we arrived, Drew was attentive to all of our questions and concerns, making the booking process easy and welcoming. When we finally arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome—and delicious welcome drinks! 😁 Kiki was equally wonderful. We really appreciated her attentiveness, prompt responses, and cheerful hospitality throughout our stay. We only wish we had had more time to enjoy one or two of the excursions they recommended. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t always cooperate, but that’s just another reason for us to come back! Sol Bungalows is truly a little slice of paradise in Bocas del Toro. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking views was unforgettable and is something we’ll definitely miss. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to offer a few more meat options for the take-out menu salads and sandwiches, like grilled chicken or turkey. That said, the breakfast served each morning was outstanding—delicious, nutritious, and the perfect way to start the day! 😋🥰 Thank you, Drew, Kiki, and everyone at Sol Bungalows, for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!
The property is absolutely beautiful both inside and out. We were in Pina- second bungalow from the main building. Communications with the owner and staff are excellent and they make sure you are well prepared for your visit. We had opted for dinner on site that night and it was delicious! Breakfast the next morning was also very good- and you have a lot of choice- ordering in the morning on what’s app with 30-45 mins notice. We had read the reviews and we knew the food would be good but still planned on eating out for most dinners. After our first dinner there, that plan was discarded…. The 3 course meal was delicious and they were also very accommodating swapping chicken for fish for my husband. They’ve put a lot of thought into every detail a guest would want. We ordered the take out lunch at breakfast twice and it was very good - the salami caprese sandwich was great and the hummus and veggies tray was bigger than expected so very good value. We also grabbed a few beers and snacks during our stay, from the fridge and supplies on site- very convenient with great prices. Staying at Sol Bungalows was the highlight of our trip to Panama!
We enjoyed a fabulous 2-night stay at Sol Bungalows in January, 2026. The location is amazing, room and beds were luxurious. You feel as you have the whole ocean to yourselves! The staff really made the stay special: Kiki, Drew and the rest of the staff were so attentive and helpful. They recommended activities, restaurants, and arranged reliable boat taxis. The food was great and breakfast was generous and tasty. We stayed at two other properties while in Bocas Del Toro and saved the this one, the best, for last.
