Theater of Spain opens its doors from Thursday with its show 'El Fae' - 9th International Festival of Performing Arts of Panama

The theater production of Spain, ME LLAMO SULEIMÁN, the story of a young African who crosses the Sahara desert and the sea in search of the so-called

ME LLAMO SULEIMÁN is also a magnificent interpretive achievement of its protagonist, Marta Vieira, who unfolded with magic and genius in the main characters and makes this a stunning and highly emotional montage. The complement is an audiovisual animation that rounds the excellence of the result, achieving an outstanding contemporary image, not seen before in Panama.

The presentation has the auspices of the Embassy of Spain, Cultural Center of Spain and UNHCR. The FAE 19 will continue on Friday the 15th, with THOSE TWO, of the Cía. Luna Lunera del Brasil, a jewel of enviable scenic perfection and a subtle plea against intolerance and homophobia through the story of two co-workers in a ministry at the Anita Villalaz Theater.

On Saturday the 16th, also at the Anita Villalaz, we will see CAMARGO, from the Corporación Teatro de Colombia, the work of an impressive artistic and thematic force on femicide and a real life killer; On Sunday the 17th at the Teatro La Plaza the assembly of Argentina is offered, AS IF A TRAIN happens, which puts us before the story of a son with a slight disability and a controlling mother and his effort not to let him become independent, under the auspices of the Embassy of Argentina, and on Monday 18 the Teatro Complot of Uruguay will present SOMETHING ABOUT RICARDO, based on Richard III of Shakespeare, on the ambition for power, also in the Anita Villalaz, sponsored by the Uruguayan Institute of Performing Arts.

The festival closes with contemporary dance, on Tuesday the 19th with the company of France, SansLettres, at the Teatro en Círculo, with AMA, a beautiful reflection on emotions around the Japanese concept of nature, choreographed and performed by one of the young dancers most recognized of Paris, under the auspices of the French Alliance and the closing on Wednesday 20 with the multi-layered US show, HALFWAY TO DAWN, of the Cía.

David Rousseve / REALITY, which brings us the best of dance and jazz through the history of one of the great American composers, in collaboration with the US Embassy. All of the above will take place at 7:30 p.m., while at 9:30 p.m. national and international artists will perform, such as the Carilimpia Theater, Actinio Project, Accidental Anarchists, ZaKtan Theater and the Gramo Danse dance groups.
