La comunidad de Embera Puru es una tribu indígena rural situada a lo largo del Río San Juan de Piquini dentro del Parque Nacional Chagres en Panamá. Dentro de la aldea hay unos 100 residentes, incluidos niños.

Se tarda una hora río arriba hasta el pueblo donde los nativos te recibirán con música y comida. Te introducirán en su forma de vida y te explicarán cómo viven en la orilla del río.
