The hotel is clean, but a bit dated. The rooftop pool is well maintained. The staff works hard to keep things clean and working. The A/C has difficulty keeping up with the high humidity, and clothes and towels don't dry in a day. While it has a full kitchen, it's not ready to use: there is no dish soap, no sponge or dish cloth, no salt & pepper or condiments. There is a small coffee maker, but no filters. There is no restaurant on site. There is no ice machine, but some rooms have small ice trays. There are two plates, two cups - two of everything, so you need to wash up regularly. Unless you're staying for a long time, it seems unlikely you'd stock up so it was useable without incurring significant costs. The location was close to small markets & coffee shops, the metro and restaurants were walking distance away.
The rooms are very clean. I found the bed to be comfortable. House keeping is exceptional. The gym has enough equipment for strength training. The is a tread mill and exercise bike for aerobic work outs.
Pleasant staff. Beautiful rooftop pool! Bed comfortable. Pillows very thin. Rooms on left hand side of hotel as you walk in are very dark and dank. View from window is the next building a foot away so little natural light. Price low however would rather pay more and get a bright welcoming room. Rooms are large but very dark overall. Kitchen utensils minimal.
We enjoyed staying at Coral Suites when we started our vacation and then stayed again after traveling around Panama. Rated the rooms a 4 instead of a 5 because of minor things like water running in the toilet non-stop. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was convenient.
This is a nice hotel in a quiet area with friendly staff. The rooms are a bit dated but it is easy to reach that conclusion when you look at the photos prior to booking. Our room (equipped with a kitchen and fridge) was massive and came with a huge bed, AC and a SmartTV. The rooftop pool and gym are nice amenities. We would certainly stay here again.
