Excellent food, fast and great service! We stumbled upon this restaurant on a stroll during the day, decided to give it a go for dinner and that was a great decision: The ceviche was the best we have ate so far, guacamole was very fresh and delicious. For our mains, we had the sea bass with clams and shrimp and the cheeseburger - both were delicious. The owner -Mr. Henri- dropped by our table to check if everything was okay, we had very nice chat, too! Overall, very delicious food! Would love to come back again!
Based on other reviews my wife and I had dinner there. Everything we had was excellent. My wife added beef strips to her risotto. I tasted the beef. Very tender compared to most meat I've had in Central America. I had bass served on a bed of mussels, a side of vegetables, and tres leches for dessert. Delicious. We also had cocktails. The service was very good and prices very reasonable. Not a huge menu but I suspect that they do everything well as a result.
We were staying at the TRYP Wyndham across the road & discovered this gem. On our way to Belize, we wanted a couple of days in Panama to see the canal. We had a fabulous meal in Marques & enjoyed it so much that we returned on our journey back to the UK for another wonderful meal. We were not disappointed - as fabulous as last time. We would highly recommend this restaurant & it’s a definite if you’re staying across the road at the TRYP!!
Very nice spot to dine-in (especially for internationals). This place is not offering local infuses or dishes. It's more suited for internationals who are used to certain way of dishes. It's still excellent and 5/5 for the food quality. Where they fall short is the quantity. It's presented like a gourmet or high-end eatery, so the portions are limited. You may want to order an appetiser and a main course per person. The quality is still great, and the presentation is excellent 👌🏻 Good spot for a quiet dinner with your partner. Prices range between $16 to $25 per main course.
I am so happy to have found the best food in Panama City on my first visit. The staff and owner were all very pleasant. The tiradito, sautéed vegetables, and house made coconut ice cream were all pure bliss. Thank you , Marqés!
