We are visiting Panama for the first time from the U.S. Big Daddy Beach Club was our first stop on our tour of Panama's Chiroqui Province. The rooms were nice and spacious. Our room was quite clean and comfortable. I would caution you on the tile floors. I came in from swimming and slipped and fell in the bathroom. I was not injured, I am just cautioning you to put the mat down. We had an ocean view room with a private patio. The staff was lovely and were very patient with us as we practiced our Spanish. They were very helpful when we inquired about the area. They were aleays pleasant and took care of our needs in a prompt and professional manner. The location is nice and right on the beach. The beach in feont of the hotel was clean and we enjoyed our time in the ocean. We did not utilize the pool, but it was clean and looked refreshing. I would recommend Big Daddy Beach Club. It is a nice comfortable place. Also, Pinky the dog is the perfect hostess.
I always rate using overall experiences, considering local preferences and expectations. Overall, the atmosphere here is very positive. Plenty of Ex-pats and locals making for a warm blend of friendships and culture: I myself met a couple from Toronto.... my NY neighbors. The Establishment has undergone a positive transformation over the years. The beachfront now has a public funded walkwayway. ....Excellent 2 tier tiki style area, pool, day room. .....hot water & A/C My overall rating is 5 stars! Porque?? Servicio!!!! The girls serving the outside area and rooms are very polite smiling, and attentive to your needs! (everyone at the counter area inside... the same! The rooms are clean and comfortable....TV included (could use a door separating the bathroom area..no big deal🤷🏻) The location is in the heart of town at the beach. The local government is looking to attract more tourism..positive! A work in progress. P.S. My wife of 37 years is from Puerto Armuelles....we come here frequently and have noticed a subtle business-side transformation taking place, enabling more establishments to flourish. 😁
