Oasis Surf Camp
Santa Catalina Panama
It has been many years since the Bortoletti family came from Italy to build what is today the Oasis Surf Camp. Every season they make improvements to the resort, to keep the customers comfortable and your stay a total pleasure. the wish is for you to enjoy your holidays with them, and come back to the visit shortly.
Brother and sister duo – David owns the hotel-resort and Silvia the restaurant – they will welcome you upon arrival. Jennifer (David’s lovely wife) is responsible for the reservations at both the hostel (in town) and the hotel/resort on the beach. They also have a qualified “OASIS TEAM” that will make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Santa Catalina is one of the top surfing beaches in Latin America. THE Oasis Surf Camp is the only hotel beachfront that provides a comfortable and relaxing family atmosphere, where you can enjoy your stay without going anywhere. We offer a seafood/Italian restaurant, comfortable private rooms (with a/c and hot water), a luxury star suite, WI-FI, lounge chairs for sunbathing, surfboards rental, and surfing lessons.
You should bear in mind that Santa Catalina has no bank or ATM, it is for this reason that our hotel accepts Visa, Master Card, and Debit Cards (Plus).
Visit the photo gallery to know more about the hotel, the rooms, the surroundings, and the activities we offer to our guests.
More About Santa Catalina
Santa Catalina is a small village of surf, very quiet and safe. Has long beaches and a flat, where you can enjoy a long bath in the sea.
Without excluding the varied and excellent waves that you can find in this nook in the Panamanian Pacific. We are fortunate to have a temperate climate and also of having waves throughout the year. The main language used is Spanish, but we speak English and of course Italian.
The Estero Beach is completely flat and is about 1.5 kilometers long and its width depends very much on the tide. On one side is limited with a river and on the other side with a rocky reef. From the Estero beach is possible to walk to the town of Santa Catalina, the walk takes about 15 minutes.
Apart from the surf, you can do horse riding, fishing excursions, or to nearby islands (Coiba, Cebaco, and Governadora), find bars, restaurants, and pizzerias; or make a unique dive or snorkeling in nearby locations.
