Description

Isla Yansailadup offers three private Over-Water Cabins with shared bathrooms. Availability is limited; if fully booked, alternative options will be provided.

The island's central location is close to Isla Perro and the Natural Pool, featuring clean beaches alongside a welcoming local Kuna family community. Accommodations are basic and resemble camping conditions. Please review the 'Information for Customers' carefully before booking.

Meals include breakfast with fresh fruit and ojaldre (fried bread), while lunch and dinner offer a choice of fresh fish or chicken with plantains and salad. Vegetarian options are available.

Itinerary

• Optional roundtrip transport: Drivers pick up guests from Panama City lodgings between 5:00am and 5:45am, traveling 2.5 to 3 hours to the Port of Carti, often spotting wildlife like monkeys and sloths.
• Stop at a grocery store en route to buy snacks, water, or fruit.
• A 30-minute lancha boat ride from the port to Isla Yansailadup follows; the ride can be bumpy with ocean spray.
• Arrive and settle into your Over-Water Cabin, then explore beaches or meet the local Kuna family.
• Lunch is served around 12:30pm featuring the fresh catch of the day or vegetarian alternatives.
• Day 2 is free for relaxing and island activities.
• On Day 3, check out by 8:00am. After lunch, join a boat tour visiting Isla Misdup and the Natural Pool, where you can stand waist-deep in the ocean.
• The tour returns to the port by 3:00pm, then transport takes you back to Panama City by approximately 7:00pm.

The meeting point is Carti Boat Terminal parking lot. Only 4x4 SUVs can enter San Blas; other vehicles will be turned back. The road is challenging with slow curves, potholes, and off-road sections. Contact the office before driving independently.
