Your excursion starts with hotel pickup in Panama City, followed by a comfortable air-conditioned drive to Anton Valley. During the journey, your guide shares insights about the region's history, culture, and geography.
Upon arrival, choose your morning activity: hike the India Dormida trail along the crater rim and learn about the local legend of the 'sleeping Indian,' or take a shorter hike to visit ancient petroglyphs and waterfalls, with an option to swim in refreshing natural pools.
Return to Anton Valley to browse the artisan market for local crafts and souvenirs. Lunch is available at a nearby restaurant (not included in the tour price).
In the afternoon, select one option: visit the Golden Frog Exhibition (closed Wednesdays) to see the rare Panamanian golden frog, explore Nispero Zoo and Botanical Garden to observe native wildlife and tropical plants, or shop further at the artisan market.
