This activity is a sensory experience involving observing the rum’s appearance, smelling its complex aromas, and tasting the nuances of sugar cane, vanilla, wood, or spices. It is conducted in three phases—sight, nose, and mouth—using a suitable glass. You gently move the rum to observe its tears and allow the liquid to cover your entire palate.
