Discover how ripe coffee cherries, picked from the trees during November through January, transform into the coffee beans you drink. Feel and test the beans to understand the importance of moisture content.
Try the traditional 'pilon,' a heavy wooden stick used in coffee processing, and roast your own small batch while learning about roasting techniques. Sort your beans carefully to create a custom blend you can take home.
The tour concludes with a tasting session featuring coffee prepared in different ways, including the distinctive Geisha coffee variety.
