Start your tour with pickup from your Panama City hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Relax on the scenic drive to Chagres National Park, where the journey continues by piragua, a traditional wooden boat used by the Embera tribe to navigate the rainforest waterways.
Disembark for a short hike through lush jungle to reach the Mono waterfall, where you can take a refreshing swim during the dry season when water levels are safe. Along the hike, listen for birds and other rainforest wildlife, and capture photographs of the natural surroundings.
Arrive at the Tusipono Embera village, one of the few communities preserving traditional ways of life without modern technology. Here, meet locals who share insights into their culture, daily activities, housing, food preparation, and craft-making. Observe traditional music and dance performances.
