Description

Your adventure begins with pickup directly from your hotel in Panama City. From there, you'll head to the Chagres River, where you'll board a traditional canoe to enjoy a ride surrounded by tropical nature. During the trip, you'll reach a natural waterfall where you can enjoy the surroundings, relax, and take photos. Depending on the weather conditions and access, the trip to the waterfall can be made on foot (weather permitting) or by canoe. After enjoying nature, you'll continue your tour to Puru Biakirú or Parara Purú, where you'll be welcomed by members of the Embera indigenous community with traditional music and dancing. During your visit, you'll learn more about the culture, beliefs, and traditions of the Emberá people. You'll have the opportunity to hear their stories, learn about their way of life, and discover their connection to nature. You'll also have time to explore the community and learn about its handicrafts. As part of the cultural experience, you'll be able to enjoy a performance of traditional dances and, if invited, you'll have the opportunity to participate and share the dance with members of the community. After this experience, you'll enjoy lunch before the drop-off. You'll take another canoe ride down the Chagres River to the harbor and, from there, continue by air-conditioned vehicle, which will take you back to the same hotel in Panama City where you were picked up. An experience that combines nature, adventure, and culture to get up close to the traditions of the indigenous Emberá people and enjoy a different day in Panama.
