Begin with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by an approximately one-hour drive to the national park’s port. There, members of the Emberá community will greet you. Next, take a scenic boat ride along the Chagres River, surrounded by Panama’s rainforest.
Enjoy a guided 20-minute hike to a waterfall, where you can swim in clear waters. Then continue for about 20 minutes by boat to the Emberá community, where you will experience their traditions and lifestyle firsthand.
Participate in cultural presentations featuring traditional dances, music, and storytelling that reveal the Emberá’s history and customs. You can also join local activities such as dance or handcrafting and learn about their sustainable relationship with nature.
A locally prepared lunch will be served, offering authentic Emberá cuisine. After the visit, return by boat to the starting point to conclude the day trip.
