Located 15 minutes from Carti port, Isla Asserya is surrounded by small islands and attractions like a natural pool, Isla Aguja, and a snorkeling reef. This destination suits those who want to enjoy the peaceful San Blas islands without enduring lengthy, bumpy boat rides.

Itinerary
- If you choose the optional roundtrip transport (available at checkout), a driver will pick you up from your Panama City lodging between 5:00am and 5:45am.
- The drive to Carti port takes 2.5 to 3 hours through jungle highlands, with possible wildlife sightings such as monkeys and sloths, including stops for photos and groceries.
- At the port, a “lancha” boat will take you on a 15-minute ride to Isla Asserya. The boat ride can be a bit bumpy and wet, depending on ocean conditions.
- Once on the island, you can relax on the beach or meet the local Kuna family before lunch at around 12:30pm.
- On Day 2, check-out is at 8:00am, with free time in the morning. After lunch, enjoy an island boat tour to nearby islands and a natural pool where you can stand waist-deep on a sunken island in the ocean.
- The tour concludes around 3:00pm, returning to the port for your journey back to Panama City, arriving by 7:00pm.
