The day begins with a hike through Metropolitan Natural Park, a tropical rainforest reserve bordering Panama City. Visitors can spot local wildlife such as agoutis, coatis, and toucans.
Next, visit the BioMuseum, housed in Frank Gehry’s distinctive building, showcasing Panama’s cultural, biological, and geological history through engaging exhibits.
The tour concludes at Punta Culebra, a Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute Nature Center. Here, you will see sloths in the trees, a frog exhibit, a marine aquarium, butterfly gardens, iguanas, and other native species.
