Description
The tour begins with a 30 to 45-minute boat ride on a traditional dugout canoe along the Chagres River to reach the Embera Tusipono community. The journey offers views of the jungle and local wildlife.
Upon arrival, community members welcome visitors and lead cultural activities including traditional dance and music demonstrations. Guests observe craft-making techniques and gain insights into Embera agricultural practices, use of medicinal plants, and social structure.
