This tour starts at Gatun Lake, where you will ride a fast boat near large vessels navigating the Panama Canal, while spotting local wildlife.
Next, travel to Gamboa, a former US military facility, for a snack and restroom break. Then walk 2 km along the Bird Watcher Pipeline Trail within the jungle to observe various plants and animals.
The route passes the Centennial Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge spanning 1,052 meters with an 80-meter clearance over the canal. A quick stop here offers views of the Culebra Cut, the site of early canal excavation challenges.
