Start early to increase your chances of wildlife sightings on this adventure combining natural beauty and excitement. The tour begins with a scenic 40-minute drive through historic colonial neighborhoods where the Panama Canal was built, passing the Culebra Cut.

Arrive at Lake Gatun’s shoreline and embark on a boat trip along the Chagres River into Gatun Lake, part of the biodiverse Soberanía National Park. Watch for wildlife including coatis, howler monkeys, squirrels, sloths, toucans, and parrots as you travel alongside the canal.

At Gamboa Public Docks, take a short boat ride toward Monkey Island. Observe monkeys playing freely and interacting closely, offering memorable photo opportunities.
