I am giving the Executive Hotel a 4-star rating (out of 5). My previous hotel review was 3.5 stars, but this property deserves a higher rating based on the overall experience. The location is excellent. It is only about a five-minute walk from the last two hotels I stayed at and reviewed, so it is in the same convenient area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were very accommodating, including helping change the TV channel so I could watch Formula 1, which was a nice personal touch. The pool area has a better atmosphere, with more ambience and people actually enjoying the space. The restaurant and bar area also had a better feel — there were people socializing, the bar was active, and the staff handled the busy traffic flow well. The hotel was busy, but the service felt organized. The breakfast buffet was also better than the previous hotel I stayed at. The restaurant had a nicer atmosphere, and the overall dining experience was more enjoyable. The hidden surprise of this hotel is the steam room. It is an excellent feature and feels like something many guests may not even know about. A few tips: the steam room gets extremely hot. They provide a cooling hose, but be careful when first turning it on because the water inside the hose can be very hot. Let it run briefly before using it. Also, use the hose to cool the metal door handle before leaving, because it gets extremely hot. If you are very particular about pillows, there are better options available at some properties. However, that is a small issue compared with the overall experience. Overall, the Executive Hotel offers a great location, friendly staff, a better breakfast experience, a more enjoyable social atmosphere, and an excellent steam room. Compared with my previous stay nearby, this property deserves a 4-star rating, and I would stay here again.
Breakfast buffet is average. Not a diverse offering. The buffet runs out of food quickly and slow to replace it. Food quality at restraunt is average. Service is very good. Rooms are nice. Elevators work well.
May have been good 20 years ago. Wifi doesn’t work in the room. Old rooms, loud AC, no soundproofing - nearby club playing loud music til 4am, needed ear plugs and can hear neighbours through the walls. Breakfast ok nothing fancy but decent selection. Points for being cheap and clean
My mom and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the entire property smelled amazing, especially our room. I honestly can't recall seeing a single spot of dirt anywhere. The staff were courteous, professional, and incredibly pleasant throughout our stay. If I could, I would rate them 1000/10! Highly recommended, and I will definitely stay here again.
We stayed at The Executive Hotel for 3 nights with my mom while taking advantage of the Copa Airlines Stopover program in Panama, and it was an excellent choice. Carlos and Elio welcomed us upon arrival, and the check-in process was quick, smooth, and very pleasant (we had booked through Expedia). Throughout our stay, the entire staff was consistently attentive, kind, and eager to help. We reserved a double room with two queen beds. The room was spacious and very comfortable, especially the mattresses, which allowed us to rest really well after long days exploring the city. The room also included a desk, minibar with complimentary water, and a coffee maker to prepare tea or coffee in the room. There was also an iron and ironing board available, which was very convenient. The bathroom was equally spacious, and one detail we truly appreciated was that the hot water worked immediately — something that surprisingly doesn’t happen in many hotels. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hair dryer were all included. Breakfast is included and served on the ground floor of the hotel, where guests can also order lunch, dinner, or an executive menu during the day. The breakfast offered a wide variety of seasonal fruits, coffee options, and traditional Panamanian breakfast items, which gave us the chance to try local flavors. The swimming pool area was beautiful: clean water, perfect temperature, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Guests can also order food and drinks from the restaurant to enjoy poolside, which made the experience even better. We also appreciated the hotel’s sustainability policy, encouraging guests to indicate when they require bed sheet changes. One suggestion that could further strengthen their eco-friendly approach would be replacing the small plastic shampoo and soap bottles with refillable dispenser stations to reduce plastic waste. Overall, this is the kind of hotel that makes you feel at home without sacrificing comfort, professionalism, or quality service. We would definitely stay here again.
