Absolutely amazing stay. The road up is very steep and windy. The very beginning is gravel and rocky but changes into nice macadam road . The views from the rooms are outstanding. It is quite windy up here and the wind was very loud both nights of my stay. Staff checked me in quickly on arrival . The room was very clean. Nice shower with hot water and great pressure . Close to town and all the hiking trails and attractions. Highly recommend staying here.
Unique experience and when lucky you can enjoy the amazing view. Service: friendly. The guy who checked us in, didn’t speak any English but still tried to show us everything. Rooms: the couple rooms are fine. Sleeping in a container is quite a unique experience. And yes you can hear the wind and yes unfortunately it gets wet inside due to the condensation. For us that was the two downsides. About the family room that one we wouldn’t recommend. The single bed is in another container with no bathroom. So when you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night you need to struggle in the wind and darkness. They should connect the two from the inside. Cleanliness: clean Amenities: there is a restaurant nearby and pretty good. Breakfast: available at the nearby restaurant and it was good. Location: not easy to get here and one of our group got sick due the curvy road. Price: Very fair.
The little place is unreal, the pictures and videos do not do justice, you have to physically be here to feel the breeze and the sun and to see the outstanding views yourself. Check in was smooth and Ariel was super helpful and knowledgeable. You feel like you are in another planet up here. We absolutely loved it.
The rooms are very small, ours smelt like awful, I think it was coming from the drains but might have been cleaning products? Regardless made my eyes water. I disagree with other reviews that the views make up for the small rooms and smells. Not to mention the smoke alarms in the room are out of service! It’s very windy most of the time so makes being outside not a viable option; so you’re kind of stuck in these small container rooms. With a weak wifi signal.
