Miraflores Locks is where all the inbound and outbound traffic from and to the Pacific side of the canal is controlled. Due to its proximity to Panama City, the government implemented this magnificent center for you to witness the engineering marvel.
The visitor center has three observation decks with a front row view of the ships transiting the canal and the Panama Canal Museum with four exhibition halls for you to learn everything you need to know about the Panama Canal history, current operation and the expansion project.
In addition, it offers facilities for your leisure such as snack bars, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
Opening hours:
Monday to Sunday (including holidays)
Ticket office: 9:00am to 4:30pm
Panama Canal Museum: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Restaurant: 12:00pm to 11:00pm

1-) Complete package: include observation decks and exhibitions.
Adults: USD 8 (non-residents) ; USD 3 (residents)
Students and minors (5 to 17 years old):
USD 5 (non-residents) ; USD 2 (residents)
2-) Partial package: Access only to ground floor terrace is free for locals and residents.
Adults: USD 5 (non-residents)

Both packages are free for children under 5 years old.
