Description

Your day begins early with hotel pick-up in Panama City between 5:00 am and 5:45 am. Sit back and enjoy the scenic 2.5–3 hour drive through Panama’s lush jungle highlands as your driver transports you safely to the Port of Carti. Along the way, you may even spot monkeys or sloths in the treetops, and there’s a short stop at a grocery store to purchase snacks or water. Upon arrival at the port, your Kuna guides will organize groups and paperwork. Things may look a little busy at first, but everything runs smoothly behind the scenes to ensure you are well cared for. Soon, you’ll board a lancha boat for the 25–30 minute ride to the first island. The journey can be bumpy depending on sea conditions, but it’s all part of the adventure — and offers a chance to glimpse daily life in San Blas as boats sometimes stop at nearby islands. ️ Isla Perro – Spend about 1.5 hours on this postcard-perfect island, famous for its palm-lined beach and a shipwreck reef just offshore. With free snorkel gear provided, you can explore colorful coral and tropical fish, swim in crystal-clear waters, or simply relax under the palms. Natural Pool – Next, visit a shallow sandbank in the middle of the ocean. Wade waist-deep through turquoise water and look for starfish on the sandy bottom. It’s an idyllic spot for stunning photos. ️ Isla Chichime – Continue to Isla Chichime, one of the most beautiful islands in San Blas. Here you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared lunch (fish, chicken, or vegetarian, plus one included drink). Afterward, relax on soft white sand, swim in the calm lagoon, or stroll the island at your own pace. Isla Diablo – End the day on Isla Diablo, a charming island inhabited by a Kuna family. Swim, sunbathe, or spend time connecting with the locals before your return journey. By mid-afternoon, you’ll head back to the port, where your driver will be waiting to bring you safely back to Panama City. • For last-minute bookings (i.e. less than 12 hours before tour), you need to obtain a verbal confirmation from the activity provider. If you have not received a confirmation or an itinerary, the tour is not confirmed and will be scheduled for the following day No Lobster meals between March 1 - May 31 (please do not choose the add-on during those dates) Please be prepared for a 2.5 hour journey each way with 1 hour on highways and 1.5 hours over curvy roads! Please do not leave bad reviews because of the road. We try to warn you ahead of time :) Transportation is in a shared SUV (1 seat up front, 3 seats in the middle row, and 2 seats in the back row).
