Fantastic. The staff goes out of their way to prepare fresh, tasty, beautifully presented dishes. The dining at Divers Paradise Hotel includes open air patio, and out on their dock in the evening. Unlike many restaurants in Bocas, you’ll find this one spotlessly clean and tidy. No trash, no odors coming from the trash next door. Just great food and service. We had 3 breakfasts, a lunch, and two dinners. Consistent all the way.
We had a wonderful meal at Pier 19. Our waiter Antonio was excellent. He promptly greeted us, gave us several seating options, we chose to sit on the dock and catch the last of the sunset. Antonio informed us of the happy hour specials and menu selection. He even helped me with my Spanish by communicating in both Spanish and English. The tuna tartar and ceviche were absolutely delicious. This restaurant is a great option for a more upscale dining experience while maintaining a casual Panamanian vibe. If you go, ask for Antonio and tell him Tomas sent you.
Fanciest restaurant we visited in the whole trip. It is a bit away from the Bocas centre, though it’s not too big of a deal at all since everything is extremely walkable. We tried the grilled octopus, which was tasty, and a great poke; the fish was minced and fully cooked with a different, pleasant taste. Drinks were strong and well-made as well. Server was a bit inattentive with our requests, but all is well since they were alone and the night was somewhat busy.
Outstanding Bloody Mary! In-house craft Bloody Mary was incredible. Simple and perfect. Additionally had some fresh coconut rum drink which was served in an actual coconut shell. Was delicious! Great outdoor seating area right on the water.
The best restaurant in Bocas del Toro! The chef is a master. She really had great presentation and delicious food. She gave us a little olive focaccia treat when we arrived and yummy chocolate bon bin treat when we left. My satay dish was yummy and my friends had a divine shrimp salad, The view was awesome on the water. The waiter was very friendly.
