Description

Stay on one of the lesser known and more remote islands in San Blas, called Isla Miryadup. This island getaway is perfect for those who enjoy peace and serenity. Snorkel on one of the house reefs, explore the island beaches and participate in a boat tour to Isla Cambombia, known to be one of the most beautiful islands in all of San Blas. Day 1: Arrival and Beach Bliss Morning: Your island adventure begins early, between 5:00am and 5:30am, as you depart Panama City, making your way to the stunning San Blas Archipelago. After a 2.5 to 3 hour drive though the jungle over slow and windy roads, you'll arrive at the port of Carti (Please note the road is in a bad condition. If suffering from motion sickness please prepare accordingly). Late Morning: From Carti, a traditional Kuna motorboat will take you on a scenic journey through crystal-clear waters and coral reefs to Miryadup Island, your little island sanctuary for the next two days. Check-in to your private cabin on Miryadup Island, equipped with basic essentials, including a shared bathroom. Enjoy the simple yet authentic island lifestyle. Sundown: Spend the late afternoon lounging on the white sandy beaches, swimming in the turquoise waters, or exploring the rich marine life while snorkeling. The natural beauty of San Blas surrounds you. Dinner: Savor a delightful seafood dinner, prepared in traditional Kuna style. Relish the flavors of the sea as you dine under the stars. Day 2: Island Exploration and Cambombia Adventure Morning: Awake to the gentle sound of waves and the rustling palms. Start your day with a Kuna breakfast (fruit, Kuna bread, eggs, coffee or tea) at the island restaurant. Late Morning: Embark on a boat tour to Cambombia Island, famous among sailors for its unspoiled beauty. Explore the fairly large island, which is home to 3 Kuna families. The main beach is pristine with crystal clear waters. Relax in the shade of a palm tree or chat with one of the sailors sharing his unique story and background. Afternoon: On Cambombia Island, you'll have the chance to relax on the secluded beaches, swim, or simply bask in the tranquil atmosphere. Be sure to capture the stunning scenery and azure waters that make Cambombia renowned among sailors and explorers. End of the Excursion: At around 3:00pm you'll board the motorboat, which will take you back to Carti. From there, you'll be transported back to Panama City, where you can reflect on your island paradise escape.
