Description
We will admire the wildlife and vegetation of the rainforest, as well as Monkey Island, where you can admire white-faced capuchin monkeys, marmosets and howler monkeys in their natural habitat. Just a short trip out of town, the Gatun Lake and Monkey Islands Expedition has a combination of history, wildlife, nature and the unique experience of traveling by boat through the Panama Canal alongside cargo ships . Your guide can take you to the monkeys and other animals.
After admiring the wildlife of the monkeys, the boat will take you to the Emberá Katuma community.
When you arrive at the community you will be welcomed with traditional music and dance. Then, they will talk to you about the history and culture of the Emberá Katuma community. Next, you will take a tour to get to know the community.
Before finishing the tour you will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch , usually fish and patacones.
