Our expert bilingual tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Panama City. We recommend an early start, to be able to see the ships crossing the Miraflores Locks. We will arrive to the Visitors Center, you will buy your entrance ticket and enjoy the best iMax experience and enjoy the History of the Panama Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman. Our guide will share some fascinating histories and information about the Canal. On the way to Casco Viejo, we will do a quick stop for a great picture of the Bridge of the Americas. You can enjoy the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. Now we arrive to the historic Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and get ready to admire its colonial architecture, narrow and joyful ambience. During the tour, we will do a quick stop, for you to get a nice souvenir from Panama, to take back home to your loved ones. Whether you’re on a stop-over with COPA, a business trip, or a vacation, this tour is the perfect way to experience the best of Panama City in just half a day. Notes: 1. If you like to get picked up at Tocumen Airport to start your half day tour, an airport transfer needs to be booked or added to your trip. 2. The morning Half Day (AM) tour starts at 7am or 8am. This will be the best suggested time to take advantage of ships schedule crossing the Canal 3. The afternoon Half Day (PM) tour starts at 1pm or 2pm. Viewing deck and iMax movie are always available during visitor's center operation hours (8am to 5pm). Total length of the Panama Canal experience is between 1 hour and 1.5 hours. 5.
