Embark on a thrilling adventure in Panama with a blend of kayaking and hiking in the stunning rainforest of Chagres National Park. Swim in a natural waterfall, enjoy a traditional lunch with the Embera tribe.
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your accommodation in downtown Panama City or Casco Viejo. Embera Community and Chagres National Park entry tax (USD $35 total per person) should be paid cash to the guide upon pick up.
After a scenic 50-minute van ride, find yourself at the beautiful shores of the Chagres River, ready to embark on an exciting journey. A canoe will be waiting to take you to a higher point for your kayaking adventure. As you glide along the river, the gentle stream will assist you. This experience is perfectly safe for people without kayaking experience or non swimmers.
Along the way, pause for a thrilling 20-minute hike through the lush rainforest, leading to a stunning, pristine waterfall. Imagine the refreshing sensation of swimming in this natural oasis. After your invigorating dip, make your way back to the Chagres river, walking through the mud, sand, and slippery rocks along the same enchanting trail.
Once back in the canoe, continue your journey down the river until you reach a warm and welcoming village of the Embera tribe. Here, be treated to a delightful traditional lunch and have the opportunity to change into dry clothes in the available bathrooms before exploring their beautiful handicrafts.
After a day filled with adventure and cultural immersion, a canoe will take you back to the van, allowing you to relax and rest as you return to your accommodation.

Important Information
- Pick up time will be from 8AM to 8:30AM, exact pick up time will be informed by email the night before the tour after 8:30 PM.
Pick up included from the entrance of all building, hotels or accommodations in downtown Panama City or Casco Viejo. Transportation from Playa Bonita is available for Private Tours only for an extra cost of USD $30 per group to be paid cash.
Wear comfortable clothes (dry fit preferred) and shoes suitable for hiking on mud and through water like hiking sandals or water shoes with good grip.
Must bring a change of clothes.
Expect to get wet during the kayaking and waterfall swim
