Description

The transfer to Guna Yala starts around 5:00 a.m. in a 4x4 vehicle with a capacity for 4 to 6 people, from your place of stay in Panama City. The exact time may vary depending on each passenger's location. Since the transport is shared, we ask you to wait in the lobby or reception of your accommodation; if you're not there at the agreed time, the driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes. Seats are assigned randomly at the time of travel. The ride to the port takes about 2.5 to 3 hours and includes a short stop on the way (depending on the time available) so you can buy your breakfast. The road to Guna Yala has curves and some uneven stretches, so we recommend taking precautions if you're sensitive to road movements. We'll also stop at the viewpoint, where you can admire the mountains and the Caribbean Sea, as well as photograph the landscape from a high point before reaching the port of Guna Yala. When we get to the port, we'll wait for all the passengers to be there. Thanks for your patience. Then we'll board the boat and head to the stunning San Blas Islands. During the trip, depending on the day's conditions, the boat may experience some movement and the sea may be choppy, so you might get splashed. The itinerary of the islands may vary depending on the day's conditions. The first island you'll visit can be Perro Grande or Uggub Sibu, and the tour can be done in either order. You'll have lunch on Uggub Sibu Island. We'll also visit the famous Natural Pool, an ideal place to take photos, relax, and enjoy the crystal-clear sea. Finally, we'll visit Diablo Island. You can spend between 1 and 1.5 hours on each island. You'll usually leave the last island around 3:00 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., depending on the weather and conditions of the day. Your guide will also tell you how long you'll be at each place, so you can make the most of the experience. At the end of the day, you'll head back to the port and then to Panama City, arriving at your accommodation between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The schedule may vary depending on traffic.

• The road to Guna Yala has curves and climbs, crossing a mountainous area before reaching the port, so it's advisable to bring pills for motion sickness if necessary. The boat ride can be bumpy if the sea is choppy, and water may splash during the journey. Each participant must present their physical passport (for foreigners) or ID card (for Panamanians and residents). We don't accept copies, photos, or digital documents (PDF or on your phone). Pick-ups are only in Panama City (we don't pick up after the Bridge of the Americas). The itinerary to the islands can vary depending on the day's conditions. It's important to follow the guide's instructions.
