How to arrive to Valle De AntonIf you come to El Valle in your own vehicle, take the Pan-American Highway west of Panama City. A few kilometers from the town of San Carlos is the detour of El Valle, on the right, in the town of Las Uvas.
The detour is approximately 90 kilometers from Panama City and El Valle is 28 kilometers more. You can also get to El Valle by bus. The bus station (Gran Terminal de Transporte) is located next to the Albrook shopping center. The fare is $ 4.25 and buses depart every 30 minutes from Platform 48.
The last direct bus back to Panama City from the Valley departs around 3:30 pm. (There are buses to the Interamerican Highway until 7-8 pm, from there you can take any bus to the city.) The only direct bus service from El Valle to the western part of Panama is the non-frequent buses to Penonomé.
If you want to go to Boquete or Bocas del Toro, you can board a bus in El Valle to San Carlos or Panama City and simply leave it on the Inter-American Highway in Las Uvas and stop a bus going west. They all have their final destination in the front window and stops in most cities along the way. In El Valle there are local buses that can take you to the villages in the area such as La Mesa, Indio River, or Mata Ahogado. There is also a fairly cheap taxi service.
