While the flavors of the dishes like the Pulpo a la Gallega and the Cochinillo lean toward authenticity, the overall experience at Casa Alejandro struggles to justify the visit. The atmosphere, though attempting a rustic Spanish charm, can feel cramped and dated, with the bright blue glow of televisions often clashing with the traditional decor. For a meal that positions itself as a specialized culinary experience, the lack of refinement in the presentation and the occasionally inconsistent service make it difficult to feel like you're getting true value for your time. Furthermore, the dining room’s tight layout often leads to a noisy, distracting environment that takes away from what should be a relaxed meal. While the Crema Catalana and the house drinks are decent, they aren't enough to carry the weight of a mediocre experience. Between the cluttered walls and the hit-or-miss attention from the staff, the restaurant feels more like a casual, overpriced cafeteria than a destination for fine Spanish dining. One expects a bit more soul and polish when paying for these classic dishes.

The food was delicious! The chicken was so tender. Seafood is extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the meal a lot!

The best meal we had at Panama City. The meat platter is of good quality. The Arriz Negro con Chipirones (Black Paella) was super tasty but it was really too black. Do not order it if you are on a romantic date. 😃 Lovely dinner, highly recommended.

Had dinner here solo and overall really enjoyed the experience. The food was wonderful — fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour. That said, given my meal came to just over $50, I did leave still feeling a bit hungry, so I’d say it’s on the pricier side for the portion size. As a solo diner, I was seated at the bar, which was totally fine, but I didn’t receive a place setting or menu initially until the bartender flagged it to one of the servers. That part was a little surprising. Overall though, I would absolutely recommend coming here for the food. Just be aware that the menu is extensive and only available in Spanish — which, in my opinion, adds to the authenticity of dining in another country. I didn’t expect or need an English menu.

By far one of the best restaurants we experienced in the city. Use Google camera to translate menu. We ordered few different dishes. Spectacular. I've never had this quality of food in Florida. You won't be disappointed. Prices are good too :)
