Reviews
Disappointing. Doesn’t live up to the name. I will share comparisons between the one in Brickell versus here. Atmosphere: From the start the atmosphere seems like they tried to cramp every Capital Grille details into a small place. The tables in the middle of the restaurant doesn’t really fit in. The entrance was nice with the lions as should be. Services: Staffs were friendly (as should be). The waiters seems not to know how to serve guests who are seated at the inner side of the booth as they constantly need to ask us to bring the glasses to serve water, reach out ourselves to grab the knifes, plates as the waiter doesn’t have enough length to reach out. It is uncomfortable for guests to be doing that. Especially at these kind of high end franchise. At places like these it is expected that they will fill your glasses without even asking. They also more than once wanted to retrieve our plates that still has steak on it. We also asked for coffee when we ordered dessert and they forgot. The restaurant was half empty the entire night so there is no excuses that they were understaffed. Foods: Mediocre. Took very long to bring out foods. We asked for breads once seated and they brought out the entrees first before the breads. - Clam chowder has no clams. - Breads were tasty. -signature calamari was disappointing. Not crispy and the calamari were so tiny that you can barely pick them up with fork. - crab/lobster cake was ok. Here they only serve 1 unit . - “lobster” Mac and cheese was horrible. Super salty and not tasty. Portion is smaller and can barely find lobster meat in it. - truffle fries were burned and over fried. We left them as it is. - steak was blend. Asked for medium rare and was executed as it is. - spinach was ok. - cheesecake dessert was very good. Overall the experience was regular to not say it was bad. The staffs and manager were trying to improve our experience and we appreciated the efforts. They have a lot to improve in the kitchen and staffs. The franchise should be here keeping tabs for at least a month to make sure everyone is living up the standard. For the price tags there are way much better options nearby you can go. Hopefully they will do better in the future.
A very good experience; the food was incredible. I'm celiac, and they had a whole separate menu for gluten-free options. The experience was excellent, and I highly recommend it. I would return if I could. I ordered the executive lunch menu with the meat.
Best steak I’ve had in Panama. Really enjoyed our whole meal here, good service and vibe too. We will be back
This restaurant maintains the chain's standards. The meat is high quality and the portions are generous. Of the sides, I especially recommend the iconic mac and cheese and the glazed Brussels sprouts.
