I am very happy with my stay here. Everything has been excellent, from the atmosphere to the attention and comfort. For me, the highlight is definitely the breakfast. It is absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious and a perfect way to start the day. I feel very comfortable and well taken care of, and I’m very satisfied with my experience. I will be staying here for a longer period of time and I’m really happy with my decision.
A bit weird experience. Booked a dorm on Agoda for two people, but at check-in we had to pay for an extra bed because in their system it showed we only booked one. That meant we (a couple) paid more for two dorm beds than we could have paid for a private room. After discussing with Agoda, we eventually got a voucher refund. This place seem to be undergoing renovation and in general this place doesn't have any real 'hostel vibe'. Seem that many workers stay there as well. Stayed in a very simple and small 4 bed dorm. (My bed mattress wasn't very good, but I might have been unlucky). A few lockers outside in the hallway. I believe the AC (only turned on during night) in the room was at 16°C, but for some reason not freezing at night. Shared toilets super small and hot. No kitchen nor allowed to bring your own food/drinks. Receptionist was kind and the breakfast very good. Location also very good. Pool available on site. My impression is that there are better hostel options in the city, if you want to socialize.
I slept up in a room on the top floor last night. One of the best sleeps I had in a long time. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Room was quiet and somehow they have the air conditioner set at the perfect temperature. Not too hot and not too cold. The breakfast was delicious and they have great tasting coffee. Doesn't taste like stale brown water. Was real happy with the breakfast too. I think they've made a lot of changes over the last few months. Looks some work is still ongoing, but imagine the place will only get better.
