A gem in a hidden gem. Be prepared to be immersed in nature and local culture, as El Copé is not very touristy. The views are breathtaking and the cabins are super nice. Joshua and Genesis are the absolute sweetest and provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. They are very caring and go above and beyond to cater to every need and request. The facilities are top notch and the lodge itself is also gorgeous. Plus, there are many animals, as they have 3 dogs, 8 cats, and a toucan, and they’re all friendly. If you do plan on coming to the area, this is the place to stay
This place is fantastic if you are looking for peace, tranquility, and a true disconnection from the busy world. It has a restaurant, a camping area, and it’s also pet-friendly. From the property, you can enjoy several activities such as waterfall tours, hiking, and nature walks. You can even start a hike directly from the property to the nearest mountain. Highly recommended for nature lovers and people looking to reconnect and relax

Wow. Just wow. What an experience this place was. If you're looking to escape the tourist crowds and truly disconnect, Sanagua Lodge is the place. We didn't encounter a single tourist during our stay – it's completely off the beaten path, wonderfully local, and the hospitality is beyond anything we expected. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our private cabin was perfect, and the entire property has this magical, peaceful energy. Three friendly dogs and a few cats roam around – our kids were absolutely entertained and spent hours playing with them. There's a net strung between the trees that became our favorite spot to relax (with the dogs, of course). The food deserves its own paragraph. We ate from the menu but were also treated to homemade pasta and incredible tomahawk steaks. Every morning we could choose our breakfast – always fresh, always delicious. We were truly pampered here. We joined a trip to nearby waterfalls and also visited the national park – both highly recommended. CCommunication was easy: on-site in Spanish with the help of Google Translate, and through the app in English. Is there much to do in the immediate area? No. And that's exactly the point. We loved being "disconnected" from the outside world. That said, the WiFi was excellent – I even managed to get some work done. We already miss this place, the people, and everything about it.
