Description
Step into the warm, vibrant kitchen of Chef Winnie and discover the soul of Panama, one mojito, one story, and one dish at a time. This is more than a cooking class. It’s a joyful, boozy dinner party in a local home, where strangers become friends and flavors become memories. As the minty mojitos start flowing (they’re bottomless!), you’ll roll up your sleeves and dive into Panama’s most beloved dishes, or simply sip and watch the magic unfold. Under Winnie’s warm guidance, you'll explore 10 authentic recipes, from melt-in-your-mouth carimañolas to fresh ceviche, creamy cassava, sweet pineapple rice pudding, and more. Each bite comes with its own story, each sip with a smile. Vegetarian? We've got you - just let us know. Just here to eat and drink? Book as “child” for a special rate. You'll learn, cook and eat: 1. Mojitos! Bottomless. Mint and other flavors. 2. Pico de Gallo - Salsa with a Panamanian twist 3. Butter Cassava with Herbs - Great to accompany your mojitos 4. Fish Ceviche - Made with fresh catch-of-the-day Pacific fish fillet 5. Picante Sauce - Chombo pepper sauce that packs flavor and punch 6. Carimañolas - Yucca mash cakes filled with ground beef.
