Museum of Penonomena History and Tradition
Penonome Museum tries to capture life in pre-Columbian Panama party that archaeological studies based on ceramics and lithics establish three regions and the province of Coclé is in the central, which also include Los Santos Herrera, Veraguas, and the West of Panama.
This comprehensive museum is based on the fact that the ecological environment observed today in the region is similar to that found by the Spaniards in the 16th century, the main ecozones being: the mangroves, the plains, the humid jungle, and the mountain. The plain or savannah has been the most densely populated area through the centuries.
Details of the building: four houses of vernacular architecture donated exclusively for the museum by the Tejeira family and the Arosemena Begovich family (beginning of the last century, 1900)
