RIVER EXPLORATION AND COOK OUT TOUR
Description: we will visit the river, where you can take a relaxing bath, relax, or see monkeys hauling and swinging around, iguanas and a variety of birds. Explore the surrounding forest and enjoy a fire wood cooked sancocho, where you can participate in the process of cooking or just of seeing how it is done, ingredients used and the tasty flavor and aroma from it. Note: only available from late December until early May.

CERRO CANAJAGUA HIKING TOUR
Description: Explore this massive expanse of state park, the subject of pride for all tableños. You will be exposed to the best of what this park and its trails have to offer. See how ecosystems interact with each other, and observe birdlife that's unique to the area. It's an ideal place to wander these beautiful, almost virgin trails and watch nature in action.

GUARARE FISHING TOUR
Description: Guararé is one of the best fishing spots in our province. Here is what you can call the catch of your life: rooster, African pompano, blue Jack, amberjack, bonita, snapper yellow tuna, marlins or dorados … your pick!

CART RIDE TOUR
Description: in ox/horse pulled cart, we will explore our town and then hike to our highest elevation: Cerro La Teta, where we´ll enjoy the gorgeous scenery and views to the Pacific Ocean and the savanna and forests.

EQUESTRIAN SPORTS TOURS (COLEO, LAZO COMPETITION/MONTA DE TOROS)
Description: Coleo is a traditional sport, very similar to a rodeo, where a small group of coleadores (cowboys) on horseback pursue cattle at high speeds through a narrow pathway, in order to drop or tumble them. Competencia de Lazo (Lasso Competition) is among the most popular sporting events and is unofficially considered the national sport, where teams of twelve riders compete to lasso a calf weighing about 136 kilograms (300 pounds) in the shortest possible time.
Monta de Toros (Bull riding) is a rodeo sport that involves a rider getting on a bucking bull and attempting to stay mounted while the animal tries to buck off the rider. Los Santos competitors are highly ranked and international and regional coleo, lazo and monta competitions and tournaments are held several times throughout the province and all year long.
Duration: 4-6 hours to 1-5 days, depending on the event.

TRADITIONAL MUSIC INSTRUMENTS LEARNING & PLAYING TOUR
Description: the santeña music is defined by its own characteristics in the metric, melody and harmony. For this reason, one can speak with propriety of santeña music. You will be able to receive an insight from a local performer and enjoy the notes and feel the rhythm of the mejoranera, socavon, pujador, repicador y caja, maracas, violin criollo, churucas, flauta, guitarra and the accordion. Also includes a presentation of one of our most valuable traditions: the saloma and the grito, an indigenous guttural scream with some features of Andalusia flamenco.

GASTRONOMIC TOUR
Description: The visitor can enjoy a demonstration of the variety of products made in the past: cooked with firewood or dried in the sun or smoked. It will take part directly in its preparation, elaboration and tasting and you will be able to take home the memory of a beautiful experience of how you prepare and bake the pipote and rosca bread in a traditional clay oven, the deliciousness of the typical viands of Los Santos like chicharrón, yuca, sun dried or smoked pork or beef, a sancocho, arroz con pollo, tamales, roasted tortillas, changa, fritters, lechona, buñuelos, chorizas tableñas, and traditional desserts such as the queque, chicheme, cocaditas, seren, dulce de marañón, the famous cocada, rosquetes and many other delicacies of Panamanian gastronomy. We will visit the only coffee manufacturing factory in the province and learn how process and taste a fresh cup is.
